Gift Guide
As a part of the new website and in homage to Valentine’s Day, we have pieced together a top gift guide to introduce some of the new designs on the website and to help you find something a bit different for that special person in your life.
1.
This little gem has been chosen for its red-copper rutile quartz stone, clasped in a bold claw setting, hung from a dark oxidised chain. A part of the Trinkets Collection, this ‘one-of-a-kind’ piece is bold enough to be worn alone, yet delicate enough to layer up with multiple necklaces, creating your own narrative.
2.
These 18ct Fairtrade gold leaf studs are designed to compliment any piece of jewellery from the Elegance Collection as well as adding a bit of sparkle to your day. Carefully hand-stamped with Julia’s own handmade signature leaf punches, they are then hand cut from gold that is fully traceable back to a Fairtrade artisanal mine in Western Peru.
3.
Also from the Elegance Collection, this free spirited emotive necklace, with a fabulous Dentric Quartz, is totally unique just like you! With fully traceable 18ct yellow gold detailing from a Fairtrade artisanal mine in Western Peru, this eye-catching piece of ethical jewellery will bring dazzling class and intrigue to any outfit.

Where it began
If we look back at Valentine’s day and its roots, it was originally a Roman festival that was celebrated mid-February. The festival of Lupercalia rejoiced the coming of spring and the fertility this promised, purifying the cities and its occupants.
One of the traditions of the festival was the pairing of men and women by lottery!
If you take a moment and unfurl yourself from the frenzy of heart emblazoned cards, red roses and fluffy teddies, reconsider Valentines as a celebration of Spring time and fresh beginnings.
“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
